The Sims 3 Dragon Valley Review.

I started the game like I always do (Note: Downloading Dragon Valley doesn't change the program name as it is a Town Pack.), I selected 'new game' and picked 'Dragon Valley' from the town list. So five-stars for selecting the main feature of the Town Pack being easy.

Now into the game, I made a new Sim and moved him into a small house just on the edge of this wonderful new town. The building and layout of this town really fit the theme well. As seen in these photos of my new house and the park.
One of the reasons upgrades like this work with The Sims 3 is because of their open-world platform. That is my favorite part of this series.

Now for the title event! The reason they call this DRAGON Valley. When you go into the shop and look in "Outdoor Activities" you will find a Dragon Egg. (Seen Here).

It is great that you can buy this on a low Sims budget in-game, so you can have a Dragon from the start. Make sure you figure out how to make it hatch, because when it does it will look something like this.
In the photo above is the Red Dragon one of many that can hatch from those eggs. I like the fact it is a game of chance with which Dragon you get and that each have their own powers. This isn't just about fire, there is magic in the air with these Dragons.

What kid or adult wouldn't want a pet Dragon?

I like how even the town people fit the theme. This is one of my favorite parts of the Sims series is that just like real life, you meet new people even Celebrities. While I was playing right after loading the new Dragon Valley, I met a Sim who was part Fairy. As I said you can be all kinds of new people.

Huge thumbs up to EA and Maxis for never missing a single detail. As you can tell a lot of the theme comes from the 2011 game "The Sims Medieval" which is a great way to bring the Sims worlds together. Okay so maybe something sticks out from the rest of the theme... lol

I am and always will be a fan of 'The Sims' because of all the things you can do. You can get any job you want, you can go from country to country within a day, you can meet a whole town of people. You can throw parties, hire Butlers. You can have magical powers. You truly can do anything! I can't wait to see where they go next with The Sims 3 and the upcoming series The Sims 4.

So head to www.thesims3.com and buy the digital copy of the newest member of the Sims 3 family "The Sims 3 Dragon Valley"
